Butler to Henry DuPont

Well dressed, full-figured, short and almost totally bald, Miles Booth was a pleasant man who spoke with a faint English accent.

The Butler of 28-year old lumber tycoon, Henry DuPont, Miles Booth offered Ivy Morgan, Jonas Markham, and Rayford Brannigan Jr. $150.00 to purchase an item on his employer’s behalf at an auction being held at the University Exhibit Museum on Wednesday June 23, 1926.

Booth meets an untimely end at the hands of Deputy Carl Grietski, who throws him from the luggage car of a train headed to Steeplin County.
